It was LITERALLY our summer highlight each year!! The one year (\u201986 or \u201987??) we managed to convince them to visit us up in Cranberry Portage (MB). Always the jokester, Uncle David \u2018pretended\u2019 to use HIS house key from Langenburg to \u2018open\u2019 OUR house locks in Cranberry. I truly don\u2019t think the look of surprise on his face could be replicated when his key ACTUALLY WORKED at our home 1000kms from his own. Truly, there is no start to our annual summer memories without thinking about Uncle David, Auntie Carol or Cousin Keri. It\u2019s something I share with my kids every summer(we even joke about it on the way to our cabin for the first time each year, as they both know the story by heart now).
