1). My Dad
– too many funny stories to tell! But I really just want to say that we all still miss him very much. And we are always greatful for the love of music that our Father instilled in us. Every Christmas was and still is a favorite with our family. Listening to him play the banjo every Christmas is one of my favorite and most fond memories of my Dad.
2). Uncle David
I know Aunty Carol won’t mind if I write this. Many of the Davidson Clan had overnight stays with Uncle David and Aunty Carol. And our Sunday drive home from Langenburg was always a memorable ride. He would drive those gravel roads going…… what felt like we were in the Indie 500! With Aunty Carol yelling at him the entire ‘10 minute ride’..lol……’David slow down’!!! And I just remember flying from one side of the backseat to the other!! It was always a sweet ride!! When your a kid, it was the best!! We all really miss Uncle David, his many phone calls to moms just to check what the scoop of the day was!!
3) Uncle George and Aunty Ann
Well, they too were like my second parents. I spent many sleepovers at their house too! Mainly to visit and play with my cousins…Brenda and Angela. He was always so soft spoken and very kind. And Aunty Ann had this infectious laugh! We miss them terribly too.
Sincerely
Candice Davidson
It is so great to see stories of our family history.
A lot I did not hear about before.
My grandmother was Mary (Petz) Zitaruk. A lot of my youth I had great memories of my great uncles, aunt’s and cousins.
Thank you for this
I miss and loved them all.
