Story from Steve Petz.
I May, 1984 I got my first hole-in-one in golf at Yorkton.
I joined up with three personnel from the Military Base where Mary worked.
As a reward for the hole-in-one, we each got three drinks at the golf course bar. The Club Champion owned a Chinese restaurant. He gave us free food and drink from about 9:00 p.m. to closing time — at least three hours. I drink one drink to each of their three — still wasn’t a fair fight.
When they found out I was Mary’s brother, they let me know they thought she was ROYALTY. They lived for her meals.
They told me the story of eight countries having semi-annual military meetings. After they ate Mary’s meals, the next three countries gave up their hosting chance to return for Mary’s FEASTS.
Mary was an exceptional COOK –CHEF.
